Spotlight: Won two in a row at Ffos Las (1m, good) during the summer before a close second in classified event at Yarmouth; didn't live up to market expectations back on AW at Wolverhampton (6-5 favourite) last month but that was after a short break and a slow start didn't help; still has potential after only seven runs and he's in the mix back in trip.

Spotlight: Won Doncaster maiden (6f, good) as a juvenile; 0-16 since but he was a close third off much reduced mark at Wolverhampton (7f, Tapeta) 19 days ago and that was from a wide draw; has claims if he can back that up and he's effective at this trip.

Spotlight: 0-14 but she's been placed behind a resurgent rival at Southwell (1m, Tapeta) in her last two starts; up 2lb but it was a close call last time and she should go well again.

Spotlight: 13-race maiden but he's on reduced mark and was a respectable third behind two well-handicapped rivals at Redcar (1m2f, soft) last month; this is a different test back on AW but he's unexposed in this sphere and has possibilities if he can build on that last run.

Spotlight: Four-time AW winner and last success was off 5lb higher over C&D last autumn; has been a bit up down this year but he's had some close calls on Tapeta and was a respectable fourth of 13 to Concert Boy over 7f here on Thursday.

Spotlight: Won in first-time visor at Ayr in July (1m, good to soft) and he reached the frame in next five starts; still looks on workable mark but his form nosedived here (7f) last time and he needs to bounce back after that.

Spotlight: Didn't achieve much in three runs in the summer but last two of them were over 6f and he's likely to be much more at home over 1m+; looks a possible improver now handicapping after a break and he needs checking in the market.

Spotlight: Won off 15lb higher at Carlisle (1m) in September 2023 but he's 0-12 since and was tailed off at Musselburgh in his final run last summer; has lots to prove after 539 days off and he has poor strike-rate (1-20) on AW.

Spotlight: Made her breakthrough in a Carlisle handicap (1m, soft) in July but she's finished down the field in three subsequent runs including a heavy defeat back at Carlisle in September; record is now 1-24 and has plenty to prove after a break.

Spotlight: Struggled in three qualifying runs and was well-held fifth of six on handicap debut at Beverley (1m2f, soft; 28-1) in July; that was under front-running tactics but he needs improvement back in trip on his return.

Spotlight: Yet to make the frame from four starts, latest when ninth of 11 on handicap debut over C&D in September; still early days but he needs a transformation after another short break

Spotlight: Dual Tapeta winner (7f), who is well handicapped on old form but losing run is up to 19 and he's struggled in both runs since returning after wind surgery; passed over.

Spotlight: On reduced mark but he's still a maiden after 15 starts and was tailed at Wolverhampton (1m4f) when last seen in July 2024; has lots to prove after a long absence and can only be watched.
